It’s been my pleasure to provide this Facebook page for the community of OOE over the years. My preference would be to pass to OOECA as I think it’s in safe hands. There are two community volunteers who are interested in talking it on but will expand to include OOS and the Glebe, thus diluting the OOE content. I am confident they will do a good job but obviously have no input on the direction it takes or who they may pass to in the future.

At a time when OOECA is looking to improve communications and reach a wider audience I would suggest this is an easy one on that path. It really only does take a few minutes per day as it’s currently run, has 2000 members and reaches a demographic that are not reached through websites or newsletters. 

I hope this is something you will consider. I am happy to come to a meeting to discuss further if you so wish but I would need indication that you are interested in discussing further before December 1 when I am due to meet with the two independent volunteers.
