Your membership impact

In the past year, your membership and donations supported:

• OOECA membership in organizations that help advance issues impacting our community, including Federation of Citizens’ Association (fca-fac.ca) and Community Associations for Environmental Sustainability (CAFES Ottawa)
• Donation to Rideau Winter Trail to support grooming and extension of the trail from year to year
• OOE parks maintenance and enhancements including port-a-potty rental for Springhurst Park, Brantwood park skating rink payment of resident water bill to flood and maintain ice, and Adirondack chairs for Brantwood Park.
• Support for events, initiatives, legal actions and appeals (Lansdowne 2.0, 18 Hawthorne)
• Sustainable Living Ottawa East tree and plant initiatives
• Remembrance Day commemoration at Brantwood Gates

There are many ways to get involved beyond membership

• Attend our monthly board meetings in person (Old Town Hall, 61 Main Street) or online (Zoom).
• Join 1 of our 9 committees, or email Info@OttawaEast.ca to add your name to our volunteer list for specific activities, projects, or special events.

E-transfer for memberships or donation

OOE residents, businesses and property owners can become members of OOECA at any time.

Pay by e-transfer, and share yur membership details (name(s) of members 18 years and older from your household, address)

E-transfer instructions

Use e-transfer to pay for you membership or donations

1. Sign in to your financial institution’s online banking service.
2. Navigate to the option to send money using Interac e-Transfer.
3. Select the account from which you will be sending the funds.
4. Add OOECA as a recipient using the email address and security answer provided below:
   • Recipient name: OOECA
   • Email for e-Transfer: etransfer@ottawaeast.ca
   • Security question: What is the password OOECA provided?
   • Security answer: OOECAtransfer
5. Submit your e-transfer with a message, or follow up your e-transfer with an email.
   • Before sending your e-transfer, use the message field to share your contact information, address, and member name(s) you wish to include in your household’s membership; or,
   • After sending your e-transfer, email Membership@OttawaEast.ca with your address and member name(s) from your household to include in your membership.

Once we receive notification of your e-transfer, please note that it may take a few business days to process your transaction.

OOECA does not share your personal information, including email address, with other organizations. We collect this information to track who has paid for a membership or provided a donation and update our records.
