Purchase or renew your $5 membership

• Purchase or renew your membership at the Main Farmers Market, monthly board meetings, or through e-transfer.
• Email Membership@OttawaEast.ca to volunteer for our 2026 membership drive or other events hosted by OOECA and our Old Ottawa East community partners.

Your membership dollars at work

In recent years, your membership dollars have supported:

• OOE memberships in organizations that advance issues impacting our community:
  • Federation of Citizens’ Association (fca-fac.ca)
  • Community Associations for Environmental Sustainability (CAFES Ottawa)
• Donations:
  • Rideau Winter Trail to support grooming and extension of the trail from year to year
• Old Ottawa East parks maintenance and enhancements:
  • Port-a-potty rental for Springhurst Park
  • Brantwood park skating rink – Payment of resident water bill to maintain ice
  • Adirondack chairs for Brantwood Park and Springhurst Park
• Support for events, initiatives, legal actions and appeals:
  • Sustainable Living Ottawa East tree and plant initiatives
  • Remembrance Day celebration at Brantwood Gates
  • Glebe Community Association contribution to support Lansdowne 2.0 appeal

E-transfer instructions

Use e-transfer to pay for your membership or donation

1. Sign in to your online banking service.
2. Navigate to the option to send money.
3. Add OOECA as a recipient using the email address and security answer below:
   • Recipient name: OOECA
   • Email for e-Transfer: etransfer@ottawaeast.ca
   • Security question: What is the password provided?
   • Security answer: OOECAtransfer
4. Include a message with your e-transfer or share member details by Email
   • Before sending your e-transfer, use the message field to share your address, and up to 2 member name(s) from your household to include in your membership; or,
   • After sending your e-transfer, email Membership@OttawaEast.ca with your address and member name(s) from your household to include in your membership.

Note:

It may take a few business days to process your e-transfer once we receive notification of payment.

OOECA does not share your personal information, including mailing address and email address, with other organizations. We collect this information to update our records and keep track of who has paid for a membership or provided a donation.
