Zoning By-law changes for low-rise infill housing in mature neighbourhoods going to city’s planning committee April 10

The long-awaited Zoning By-law changes for low-rise infill housing in mature neighbourhoods is going to the City of Ottawa’s planning committee on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Anyone wishing to comment is invited to attend and speak. View the planning committee’s report and recommendations.

The OECA Planning Committee is in support of the recommendations with one or two minor modifications. The development industry are less enthusiastic for a variety of reasons not the least of which being the changes will restrict what is possible on a particular site.
