Daily Temporary Road Closure Notice – Deschatelets Ave
A notice of daily temporary road closure has been provided by the Regional Group for the section of Deschatelets Ave from Oblats Ave to Hazel St. The following is the message received from the group:
“The Greystone Village Construction Team want to ensure the safety and security of the community and we are assessing the operation of our site on an ongoing basis.
We have observed an increased amount of pedestrian and vehicular traffic on the section of Deschatelets Ave from Oblats Ave. to Hazel St, and a high concentration of construction activity in the same area. We have assessed that limiting access to that section of road during construction hours will be the best way to keep everyone safe.
Beginning Tuesday March 31, 2020 there will be traffic barricades closing this portion of road during the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. There will be traffic barrels and barricades with Lane closure arrows and Temporary Road Closure signs directing traffic and pedestrians accordingly. This portion of road will be opened on evenings and weekends as normal.
We appreciate the ongoing cooperation as we endeavour to operate in the safest manner possible.”
