Open House on Lees Avenue Reconstruction

Earlier this month, the City of Ottawa held an open house regarding the proposed reconstruction of Lees Avenue (from Main to Chestnut). View the map of the proposed redesign that was presented at the meeting. The proposed reconstruction involves the reconstruction of the street surface components, including a new roadway, cycling provisions, sidewalks, parking arrangement, and landscaping. The project includes the provision of an eastbound bike lane along the south curb line, and the elimination of on-street parking in that location. On-street parking will be provided along the north curb line.
