Event description
On Sunday, November 10th, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., join representatives of the Canadian Armed Forces and ex-Service associations, including the Legion & Womens’ section, Cadet forces, Councillor Menard and civic leaders, OOECA board and residents for a Remembrance Day commemoration at Brantwood Gates (Main Street and Beckwith Road).
Activities
- Singing of O Canada, remarks and poem, trumpeter
- Moment of silence
- Laying of wreaths at the base of the Brantwood Gates
Temporary road closures
- Main Street at Beckwith Road and surrounding area will be closed during the ceremony.
- Road closures are expected to last 1.5 hours from 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
- Traffic marshals will be on-site to redirect vehicles.
