Ottawa Centre Candidates Debate

The Ottawa Centre Federal election debate will take place on Tuesday, April 15. The debate is being organized by four community associations:

  • Centretown, Glebe, Ottawa South, and Old Ottawa East. 

Debate details

  • Event Location: Knox Presbyterian Church (120 Lisgar Street) – Site is wheelchair accessible
  • Event Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The debate starts at 7:00 p.m.
  • Parking available at City Hall parkade for $2. Free street parking is available after 5:30 p.m.

The debate will be moderated by David Reevely, author and reporter with The Logic. Submit questions in advance will be recorded by Rogers TV, with the video made available online following the event.

Candidates

All 4 Ottawa Centre candidates representing the parties participating in the Federal Leaders’ Debate have been invited to participate in the debate:

  • Yasir Naqvi (Liberal) – Confirmed
  • Joel Harden (NDP) – Confirmed
  • Amanda Rosenstock (Green) – Confirmed
  • Paul D’Orsonnens (Conservative) – Not yet confirmed

Other candidates running in Ottawa Centre will be provided space at the event to share informational materials and engage with attendees.
