We focus on built environment and related planning and zoning matters to protect, support, and improve the overall livability of the Old Ottawa East neighbourhoods and their residents. We:

  • support implementation of OOE Community Design Plan and Secondary Plan
  • protect community interests regarding proposed changes to regulatory or legislative frameworks.
  • review, assess, and influence development proposals in or affecting OOE.
  • monitor projects for compliance with approved plans.
  • help residents understand planning processes and applications, especially those with broad-community impact, for example, minor variances.
