OOE Hosers retain Capital Ward Cup
This past weekend, the OOE Hosers retained the Capital Ward Cup – emblematic of shinny supremacy – when they defeated their Glebe and Old Ottawa South rivals.
Many thanks to Eric Cauchon and Louis Denis and their hosers for miraculously resurrecting the Brantwood Rink, to Lee Jacobs and CAG for the tournament refreshments (best in 17 years), Councillor Shawn Menard who sponsored the tournament and Miles Krauter of his staff who officiated.
And most of all, congratulations to those gritty OOE players who once again demonstrated the superiority of Old Ottawa East.
