Federation of Citizens’ Associations (FCA) report for May 13 board meeting

Has John Dance’s planning report on the proposal to allow 6-storey or 9-storey buildings on Old Ottawa East’s main streets awakened you to the complexities of what the City is planning with its new Zoning By-Law, and what might happen in your own backyard? Then you may be interested in a workshop the Federation of Citizen’s Associations has planned for Saturday, May 24th. 

The title of the workshop is: “Solving Zoning Problems: Has Draft 2 Solved Yours? Help Communities Solve Their Zoning Problems“.

The workshop will be held at the Hunt Club-Riverside Park Community Centre, 3320 Paul Anka Dr, Ottawa, ON K1V 9M7. The Old Ottawa East Community Association is allowed to send 2 members and I’m willing to give up my seat if anyone from the community wants to attend and find out what the heck this is all about.
