Grande Allée / Forecourt Park Update

The community association held an open house February 29, 2016 so residents could review the final concept plan for the new community park encompassing the Grande Allée and the Deschatelets forecourt within Greystone Village. The plan well reflects the ideas proposed by community members at the park planning meeting held last June at Lady Evelyn School. Over the last eight months the plan has been refined to reflect direction from the City’s parks planning section and suggestions from OOECA’s parks committee led by Eddie Gillis. The Regional Group is providing more land for the park than what the City requires and it will be built to a higher standard than what is generally the case for new parks.
