Information session concerning Lees Avenue Reconstruction on December 4, 2013

An information session on the reconstruction of Lees Avenue (Main to Chestnut) will be held 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4 in the Normandin Room, second floor of Saint Paul University’s Laframboise Hall, 249 Main Street. There will be a presentation at 6:00 p.m. The work is planned for the summer of 2014.

The proposed project involves the reconstruction of the street surface components, including a new roadway, cycling provisions, sidewalks, parking arrangement, and landscaping. The project includes the provision of an eastbound bike lane along the south curb line, and the elimination of on-street parking in that location. On-street parking will be provided along the north curb line.
