Rideau River pathway update

The closures dates of the eastern and western Rideau River pathways has been revised as outlined below:

· Western pathway – currently closed, scheduled to reopen as early as August 14, 2015

· Eastern pathway – currently open, scheduled to close as early as August 14, 2015 (please note that the western and eastern pathways will not be closed simultaneously)

The western pathway will continue to be detoured via the Lees Avenue overpass and the eastern pathway will be detoured via Vanier Parkway and the new Coventry Pedestrian and Cycling Bridge over Highway 417. These dates are dependent on weather and work progress.
