Sesquicentennial Prime Ministers Book Club – Lester B Pearson

Dr. Stephen Azzi will be helping us better understand the life and times of Lester B. Pearson, Nobel Prize winner and prime minister in two productive minority governments in the 1960s.

Stephen is associate professor of political management, history, and political science at Carleton University, where he is supervisor of the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management. Stephen holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo and has extensive political experience, having worked for four members of Parliament. He is author of Walter Gordon and the Rise of Canadian Nationalism and Reconcilable Differences: A History of Canada-US Relations.
