Community celebration of new Flora Footbridge – July 20

Members of the community are invited to attend a celebration in honour of the opening of the new Flora Bridge on July 20 at 4:00 pm. The Old Ottawa East Community Association will be co-hosting the event along with our sister community associations in the Glebe and Old Ottawa South.

Residents are invited to meet in the middle of the bridge at 4:00 pm to help cut the ribbon. After brief remarks from members of the community associations, people are invited to enjoy cake on the Old Ottawa East side of the bridge, and lemonade on the Glebe side (please bring your own cup to help reduce plastic waste).

Rain date is Sunday, July 21.
